Several months ago we were contacted by the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade committee and asked if we could provide cotton for their Parade float.  We have carried Dried Cotton Stalks<\/a> and Cotton Bolls<\/a> for a long time, but not bulk cotton.  However, we contacted our cotton supplier and were able to make this happen!  A five-hundred pound bale of cotton was transported from the farm in Arizona to the float being built in California.\"52c3569536078.image\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then we waited anxiously to see the results…. New Year’s Day 2014 we sat in front of the TV and watched for a float with fluffy white clouds.  We recognized it immediately!  And it was confirmed a moment later when the news team announced it as the South Pasadena float.  The theme is Intergalactic Vacation.  The float showcases a family vacationing on Mars and having their photo taken by an alien on a hover-board.  The entire base of the float, and the column supporting the alien, is covered in cotton, white carnations, white roses, and other cloud-like flowers.<\/p>\n
